Sign Up for V-safe! Tell CDC How You Feel After Vaccination.

As we head into another fall and winter virus season, remember to sign up for V-safe after your COVID-19 or RSV vaccine. V-safe is a vaccine safety monitoring system that lets you share with CDC how you feel after a vaccination by completing short check-ins by text message or email.

Anyone who receives an updated 2024-2025 COVID-19 vaccine (or their parent/caregiver), an RSV vaccine, or a maternal RSV vaccine, can sign up for a V-safe account to begin receiving and completing check-ins.

A casually dressed woman holding a mug views the V-safe app on her phone while standing in her kitchen. The text overlay features a checklist highlighting '2 minutes,' '12 check-ins,' and '6 weeks.' The scene is relaxed and comfortable, emphasizing ease of use for the app.

Signing up for V-safe and completing check-ins is easy! Ready to get started?

  • Use your smartphone, tablet, or computer and sign up here: vsafe.cdc.gov. Your personal information in V-safe is protected so that it’s safe and private. You can opt out at any time.

  • Visit V-safe’s website to learn more about your eligibility, step-by-step instructions, and FAQs.

  • Complete a two-minute V-safe check-in every day during the first week after vaccination and then one check-in per week for six more weeks.

  • Spread the word! Tell your family and friends to sign up for V-safe after their COVID-19 or RSV vaccine.

Thank you for signing up for V-safe. Your participation helps CDC’s vaccine safety monitoring efforts.
