Prevalence of Self-Reported Hypertension and Antihypertensive Medication Use Among Adults During 2017–2021, the use of blood pressure medication among people who reported having high blood pressure increased by about 3 percentage points, from 60% to 63%. Years of Potential Life Lost and Mean Age of Adults Experiencing Nontraumatic, Out-of-Hospital Cardiac Arrests During 2014-2021, the number of years of potential life lost due to out-of-hospital cardiac arrests among adults in Chicago increased. Racial and Ethnic Differences in Social Determinants of Health and Health-Related Social Needs Among Adults Social connection was the most commonly reported unmet need, with 32% of adults feeling socially isolated or lonely and 25% reporting a lack of social/emotional support.
