Release Notes: This release includes an update for the Vaccine Information Statement (VIS) codes’ CVX to VIS map.
Release notes are designed as a guide to highlight changes that have been made to the vaccine codes since the last publication. They should not be used as the primary source of code information. The vaccine code files themselves should be utilized.
VIS Code Set Updates
This release includes the following VIS updates:
- CVX code 316 “Meningococcal polysaccharide (groups A, C, Y, W) tetanus toxoid conjugate, meningococcal B recombinant vaccine, 0.5mL, preservative free” which is associated to the PENBRAYA product and is now associated to two VIS documents which should be provided to the recipient/caregiver:

This update will initially only be available on the public website and via the Content Cloud distribution to registered users. It will be included in the web services files and available in the Viewpoint browser when the next full code set release is published the week of March 18, 2024.
