P16 _expression_ and Recurrent Cervical Intraepithelial Neoplasia After Cryotherapy Among Women Living with HIV
The _expression_ of p16 protein, a surrogate marker for high-risk human papillomavirus, is associated with cervical dysplasia. This study evaluated correlates of p16 _expression_ at treatment for high-grade cervical lesions and its utility in predicting the recurrence of cervical intraepithelial lesions grade 2 or higher (CIN2+) following cryotherapy among women with HIV.

The aim of this study was to understand how vaginal microbiota composition affects antiretroviral concentrations in the setting of hormonal contraception initiation. The study evaluated antiretroviral concentrations and vaginal microbiota composition/structure in the context of contraception initiation and predicted genital shedding using multivariable repeated measurements models fit by generalized estimating equations.

Despite their importance for immunity against sexually transmitted infections, the composition of female reproductive tract memory T cell populations in response to changes within the local tissue environment under the regulation of the menstrual cycle remains poorly defined. This study aims to show that in humans and pig-tailed macaques, the menstrual cycle determines distinct T cell surveillance behaviors by subsets corresponding to migratory memory and resident memory cells.

The aim of this study is to examine in-hospital exclusive breastfeeding and its association with sociodemographic factors, medical factors, breastfeeding intentions, and health care system breastfeeding support. The study conducted a retrospective cross-sectional study using medical records from 2015 to 2019 of healthy term infants without breastfeeding contraindications at a public teaching hospital serving a racially and ethnically diverse patient population.

The objective of this study was to estimate the total cost of implementing primary prevention strategies for 5 local health departments across 3 years of program implementation. The study used a microcosting analytic approach to identify resources and compute costs for all prevention strategies implemented.

This study aims to determine among pregnant individuals the proportion of acute respiratory infections testing positive for respiratory syncytial virus (RVS) and RSV incidence rate, RSV-associated hospitalizations, deaths, and perinatal outcomes. The study conducted a systematic review following PRISMA 2020 guidelines using five databases (Medline, Embase, Global Health, Web of Science and Global Index Medicus) and included additional unpublished data.

The goal of this study was to determine if those who have experienced sexual violence are at increased risk of sustaining a traumatic brain injury in their lifetime. This exploratory study examined data from the 2017 Connecticut behavioral risk factor surveillance system.

A number of factors may contribute to disparities in mental health and suicidality for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and questioning (LGBQ) students, including parental abuse. This study examined experiences of verbal and physical abuse in the home with mental health and suicidality among LGBQ students compared to heterosexual students.
