CDC Confirms New Report of Human Infection with Flu Viruses from Pigs

CDC has confirmed the tenth human infection with flu viruses that usually spread in pigs during 2022. Sporadic reports of people being infected with flu viruses that usually spread in pigs happen each year, many in people who have attended agricultural fairs where pigs are present. CDC recommends precautions in such settings.

Print Ready Posters Promoting Flu Vaccination

The 2022-2023 flu vaccination campaign toolkit includes print-ready materials, including posters. These may be downloaded, copied, and distributed. You can use these materials to highlight the importance of annual flu vaccination. This year’s campaign focuses primarily on the importance of vaccinating kids against flu since flu vaccine coverage has fallen 6 percentage points in kids since 2019.
