National Forum on COVID-19 Vaccine 

​In support of the National Strategy for the COVID-19 Response and Pandemic Preparedness, CDC is holding a virtual National Forum on COVID-19 Vaccine on Feb. 22-24. The forum is for practitioners focused on vaccine implementation and people and groups that can champion vaccine uptake in communities. Registration closes February 16, 2021.

CDC Study Shows Waning Vaccine Effectiveness Against Adult Flu-Associated Hospitalizations

​A recently released CDC co-authored study found that vaccine effectiveness (VE) in adults declined over time following flu vaccination, with maximum VE observed shortly after vaccination, followed by a decline in VE of about 8% to 9% per month post-vaccination. For adults 65 years and older, VE declined by 10-11% per month post-vaccination.
