65 or Older? You Have Several Options for Flu Vaccine!

There are several flu vaccines approved for use in people 65 and older including high dose, adjuvanted and recombinant vaccines. CDC does not recommend any licensed, age-appropriate flu vaccine over another. While you should not delay vaccination for a specific vaccine, there may be multiple providers near you who have different vaccine formulations available. Call ahead to check.

There’s No Time for Flu

In collaboration with the American Medical Association and the Ad Council, CDC launched a flu vaccine educational campaign called No One Has Time for Flu. The campaign features TV, radio, and digital ads aiming to increase flu vaccination rates with emphasis on non-Hispanic Black and Hispanic/Latino groups, who are at higher risk of serious flu complications, but are less likely to be vaccinated.
