VIS Updates Effective July 28, 2020
Release Notes: This release covers updates for Vaccine Information Statement (VIS) codes and maps only. A separate set of release notes and files is prepared for the Vaccine CVX and associated code updates.
This release includes the following VIS related updates:
- One new VIS document edition has been added to the CDC website. The edition status of the associated prior edition has been set to “historic”.
The following three VIS download files have been updated on the web site on 7/28/2020.
The new VIS Document is shown below for reference, along with the prior document edition it replaces. In the files, the new VIS has a new document “VIS Fully-encoded text string”, an Edition Date of 7/28/2020, and an Edition Status of “Current”. The previous Edition Status has been set to “Historic”. Current and previous editions retain the same GDTI document code. The URLs remain the same across editions.
