Now’s the Time for Flu Vaccination

It is best to get vaccinated before influenza viruses start to spread in your community. However, as long as flu viruses are circulating, vaccination efforts should continue. There are many flu vaccine options, but the most important thing is that you get vaccinated. Talk to your health care professional about the best flu vaccine option for you.

Who Should and Who Should Not Get Vaccinated

Everyone 6 months of age and older should get a flu vaccine every season with rare exception. Vaccination is particularly important for people who are at high risk of developing serious complications from influenza. Talk to a health care professional if you have any questions regarding which influenza vaccine is best for you and your family.
