Overdose Deaths Involving Opioids, Cocaine, and Psychostimulants — United States, 2015–2016
In this study, CDC examined age-adjusted death rates for overdoses involving all opioids, opioid subcategories (i.e., prescription opioids, heroin, and synthetic opioids),cocaine, and psychostimulants with abuse potential (psychostimulants) by demographics, urbanization levels, and in 31 states and the District of Columbia.

Prevalence of Diagnosed Diabetes in Adults by Diabetes Type — United States, 2016
This study used National Health Interview Survey data from 2016 to estimate the prevalence of diagnosed diabetes among adults by primary type.

Updated CDC Recommendations for Using Artemether-Lumefantrine for the Treatment of Uncomplicated Malaria in Pregnant Women in the United States
This policy note reviews the evidence and updates CDC recommendations to include artemether-lumefantrine as a treatment option for uncomplicated malaria during the second and third trimesters of pregnancy and during the first trimester of pregnancy when other treatment options are unavailable.
