Dear Partners in Prevention,
Please mark your calendars for the National STD Curriculum’s official launch webinar on Thursday, January 25, 2018 from 12 – 1pm ET. Webinar registration information will be coming soon.
An introduction will be provided by CDC’s Director of the Division of STD Prevention, Dr. Gail Bolan. Editor-in-Chief, Dr. David Spach, will then highlight features of the new, free, and up-to-date National STD Curriculum website which provides free CME and CNE credits. Based on the most recent CDC STD Treatment Guidelines, the curriculum addresses epidemiology, pathogenesis, clinical manifestations, diagnosis, management, and prevention of a variety of STDs. Content includes:
- Seven Self-Study Modules
- Twelve Question Bank topics with 100+ interactive board-review style questions
- Modular learning in any order with progress tracker
The National STD Curriculum was funded by a grant from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for the National Network of STD Clinical Prevention Training Centers and developed by the University of Washington STD Clinical Prevention Training Center.
