Weekly U.S. Influenza Surveillance Report
CDC Influenza Division produces a weekly influenza surveillance report, FluView. According to this week's report (November 19-26), seasonal influenza activity is increasing in the U.S. Louisiana, Mississippi, and South Carolina experienced high Influenza Like Illness (ILI) activity levels. Georgia experienced moderate ILI activity.

Clinicians, It’s Not Too Late to Vaccinate
As long as flu viruses are circulating, vaccination should continue throughout flu season, even into January or later. It's necessary for some patients to receive a strong recommendation for flu vaccine from their provider. Use the SHARE method to provide important information to help patients make informed vaccine decisions.
