It’s week two of National Immunization Awareness Month (NIAM), an annual observance to highlight the importance of vaccination for people of all ages. The second week of NIAM focuses on the important role vaccines play in protecting pregnant women and their developing baby. You can find out which vaccines you need to protect yourself and your developing baby by taking CDC’s maternal vaccine quiz

For more information on vaccines, read Six Things You Need to Know about Vaccines. Also, visit CDC's pregnancy and immunizations site on CDC's Vaccines and Immunizations website.
