In observance of Men’s Health Month in June, CDC’s Division of Reproductive Health and the HHS Office of Population Affairs (OPA) recently released a Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report (MMWR), "Male Attendance at Title X Family Planning Clinics – United States, 2003-2014."

The report presents data on men’s use of services at Title X Family Planning Program sites from 2003-2014 and highlights that the percentage of male clients nearly doubled from 4.5% in 2003 to 8.8% in 2014. The percentage of family planning users who were male also varied widely by state, ranging from 1 percent or less in Tennessee, Mississippi, and Alabama, to 27% in the District of Columbia.
