Long-acting Reversible Contraception Use Among U.S. Women Aged 15–44 Use of long-acting reversible contraceptives (LARCs) declined between
1982 and 1988, remained stable through 2002, and then increased nearly five

is sick.
Transmission
of Hepatitis C Virus Associated with Surgical Procedures — New Jersey 2010 and
Wisconsin 2011 In one case, a female health
care worker (patient A) underwent a uterine dilation and curettage procedure at
the facility where she worked. Occurrence of these two unrelated cases of
health care–associated HCV infection highlights the importance of hepatitis C
surveillance and investigations of possible health care transmission.
Syphilis
Profiles, 2013 The profiles provide an overview of primary and secondary (P&S)
syphilis and congenital syphilis morbidity in each of the 50 states, the
District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands. The profiles
