What's New

Weekly Influenza Surveillance

Influenza activity is low in the United States, but is expected to increase in the coming weeks. Yearly vaccination is the first and most important step in protecting against flu. Flu vaccination can reduce flu illnesses, doctors' visits, missed work due to flu, as well as prevent flu-related hospitalizations and deaths. If you have not gotten your flu vaccine yet this season, you should get one now.

What you need to know for the 2013-2014 Season

Free Resources

This season's flu materials include messaging to address the 2013-2014 flu recommendations. All materials are free for download. They may be printed on a standard office printer, or you may use a commercial printer. Order free copies of select materials.

Partner Activities

Join the effort by becoming a flu prevention partner. CDC encourages partner organizations to promote flu vaccination within their communities, coordinate or host flu vaccination clinics, and increase awareness about the importance and benefits of annual flu vaccination. For information about how to become a partner, visit the Partners site.
