You are subscribed to CDC's Vaccine Information Statements (VIS) email subscription service. The hepatitis B vaccine information statement has recently been updated and is now available.
In addition to minor language changes throughout, changes include updates to some of the epidemiologic statistics in Part 1, inclusion of the routine schedules and addition of diabetes as an indication for patients 60 and older in Part 3, and a note in Part 4 about waiting to donate blood following vaccination.
Stocks of existing hepB VISs may still be used, but as always we encourage transition to the current edition as soon as possible.
