SCA Interns Discover the Desert (BLM Facebook) A Student Conservation Association Resource Inventory Team has started roving the BLM California Desert District helping to update wilderness resource inventories. Bridgeport Sage Grouse Project (BLM Facebook) The BLM, volunteers and partner organizations joined forces for an important sage grouse protection project in Bridgeport. The project, part of the Sage Grouse Initiative, places reflective tags along fence lines to prevent sage grouse from running into them. The project has been found to have an 83% success!
