a groups.io question?

Hi all,
For those of you both in the command line, and a member of any groups.io 
list, I have a question?
How are you logging in?
Each time I try, regardless of Linux browser, I get a "you must enter a 
password" error.  even though I am providing one.
anyone else having success?  I keep wondering if I should add a space, or 
change something say in lynx for it to work once more.
