Hi, Chime,
That is correct talkback is now android. It used to be a Motorola wonder. If memory serves talkback has not been updated since 2013 or so. Many on the google accessibility list complain..a great deal, about talkback problems.

Hi All: Tomorrow we will be setting up my new Google TV Streamer, which will
have TalkBack, which got me wondering first why we cannot seem to install on a
Chromebook, and 2nd would TalkBack be an option in Debian? In running several
duckduck searches, I see a github page of fos. I have no idea what that
is-and-like many github pages, there were no direct downloads nor any git clone
commands? Thanks so much in advance
Chime
