Howdy Matthew,

i do not ship the auto start scripts by pip as this is very agnostic to the used Linux distribution. But you can find some for runit and systemd on git:
https://github.com/chrys87/fenrir/tree/master/autostart

maybe most easy for you would be to request fedora maintainers to package fenrir for you.

btw should I have ran the pip install command as root?
yea, to install fenrir global on your machine root permissions are required.
Fenrir runs also just fine without installation just from git tree. this is not just handy to test newer versions of fenrir bu also you can basicaly put the folder somewhere in opt and change the startup script to the new location

Hi all,

I am using fedora 38 workstation if this matters and when trying to install fenrir I get a error from evdev or someting about a no such file or directory.  I first installed pip then ran pip install and got that error.  Anyway using fenrir in fedora and how did you get it working?  Is there another package I need to install someware?  Thanks if anyone has any ideas on what might be going on I would like some pointers on this one.

Matthew
