Re: Konsole progress/any good alternatives?

I've taken a poke at the code to see if I can help with obvious solutions and, honestly, I don't even begin to understand how that file is put together at all.

Assuming you fix things, would that be a PR, or would I just be able to do a paru -S konsole-git, use my aur helper and go from there? I'm not sure if it'd just be a straight commit or how it'd work.


I've run into the same, or similar at least, issues with LXQT's terminal just as a heads up but I'm not sure anything can be done about that since it is built against QT 5.15

Well the issues I identified are only related to Konsole. Without fire the proper events orca is not able to react. Once those got fixed we can optimize it. I will take a look at this in upcoming days.

Only one way to know for sure, work on kde accessibility has been recent
so maybe orca can be adjusted to exploit that work.
