I'm gonna use my Asus desktop computer to make this linux system disk.
Does anyone know how to get into the BIOS setup program on an Asus M32CD
desktop machine? It's not obvious watching the startup screen.
Thanks.

Yes, but there may need to be a setting in bios to enable it.

Hi Howard,
the Slint USB stick contains all you need to install Slint, not an already
installed system.
Instructions here: https://slint.fr/doc/HandBook.html#_slint_installation
I suggest that you choose the Auto installation mode, easier for beginners.
Cheers,
Didier

Thanks to all who have made suggestions.
First: I downloaded ubuntu and flashed it to a USB stick.
Next: I got my mind changed (probably for the nbetter), so I downloaded
Slink
and flashed it to another USB stick.
Now I have two USB sticks that each contain a version of linux. Assuming
I'm
gonna go with Slinnt, do I now have a bootable working copy of Slint? Or
is
there more to do before I'm actually running linux?
Thanks still more.
Howard
