I have Linux Mint (Mate Edition), on one of my machines. This is based on Ubuntu 20.04, which is a long-term stable version. I hear, it will be supported til 2030? with orca configured for speech; can't test the braille setup, I have no display. Try out the live system from https://linuxmint.com.
