It has admittedly been over 8 years since I did this but as I recall rdp
has the option to allow sound from the remote machine to come through.
You will have to look at the documentation to figure out how but it should
be possible.

It might be suitable for streaming audio but I imagine that the audio

forwarding the audio too, though it requires a fairly high-bandwidth
connection and would also be subject to latency concerns.
