The emacspeak espeak support is depressingly fiddly to get working, but it is well worth doing.
I keep hearing this, so I am expecting it will indeed be a huge pain. Once it works though, I hope it is not something that breaks all the time. Also, I hope it gives equivalent performance to whatever people get using eFlite or Festival.
