I installed NVida, but the problem remains. Thank you much for your

I updated from gnome 3.16 to 3.18, and whatever came along for the
ride, on Saturday, 31 October. (I hadn't been able to boot up at all
for a while, but that's another story.) The GUI stuff I used had
worked just before the update, though with long-time quirks I hoped
the update would fix. Instead, I can't use Firefox or anything else
with the GUI. Orca comes up, usually, but I get a message that
something's wrong and that all extensions are disabled as a precaution.
The last problem I've had last week with my Debian Testing OS was a
conflict with NVIDIA Driver. I don't why but the remove of NVIDIA driver
and reinstallation of the Nouveau driver make Gnome works.
