OK, I figured out the deal with Helix Player, formerly known as Real Player. It hasn't been updated since 2010 and official builds have stopped. However, you can still download both the Helix and Real Player for Linux. If I understand correctly, it's a graphical player, just like RealPlayer was in the past. The good news, though, is that there is no longer a need for TRPlayer as I thought. You can download the Helix DNA Client which is command line only and plays apparently all of the same formats as Real. It also exists for Windows and I must emphasize that it's very basic and minimal, but it works. The download areas are a bit confusing, so plan on some trial and error. Also note that the Linux builds are for kernel 2.2 and Red Hat 8, just to show you how dead the Real format is nowadays. Here is the official site: http://www.helixcommunity.org/ >From there, go to downloads and the nightly builds for the Helix DNA Client. Good luck and let me know if you get anywhere. _______________________________________________ Blinux-list mailing list Blinux-list@xxxxxxxxxx https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/blinux-list
