Re: Screen reader for DOS needed

Hi Christian,
Actually you are generating an education for us all.
I still use dos daily, have yet to discover a reason for windows, doubt I ever will at this point, smiles. This is certainly a matter of personal taste. I use business vision, which was never available for free. I did not care for jaws for dos at all. I do have asap if you cannot find it along with screen power. I would be very surprised of asap does not support the Apollo. As for braille, having never used it, I cannot guide you here. Still based on what little I know, you may have been sent a fine option there via a post I think of Sam's. If for any reason you cannot find what you need, ask me privately, I likely have it or a door to it.

Hi all,
Sorry if being off topic, but I am searching for a screen reader for DOS that either works with braille, Baum, Powebraille or Handytech. I's also fine if it is just speech, and if it is, it should support an external Apollo synthesizer.
Many thanks for any help,
Christian
