Running Lunix Under windows?

Well, in addition to fine suggestions from you nice folks, some1 from our LUG 
suggests I try
colinux
Looks to be only 19mb.  I will try-and-install it on my laptop this evening, 
but then I will probably need to grab speech, whether YASR or speakup?  Unless 
Jaws will continue talking in this other window, like it did in DOS
