What if I want to upgrade from Gnome 2.20 to the latest v2.22? Where can I find more information about this. Running Debian Lenny.

You could look at Ubuntu Hardy. It appears that Ubuntu Hardy has 2.22 packages. You could pull them in that way by adding a Ubuntu mirror to /etc/apt/sources.list. I don't know what differences there are between their packages and Debian. You might have to set up apt pinning to pull in the newer Ubuntu versions. The 2.22 packages might not be 100% complete, but I saw a newer version of Orca than what Debian offered. If in doubt, check a Ubuntu mirror in /pool/universe/g/gnome* or http://archive.ubuntu.com/
