podracer and bashpodder are both command line packages that work when set up. bashpodder doesn't need bittorrent to be installed in order to work and if it has its other dependencies met can even run under windows in a linux environment. rss2email is available in the debian environment and rather than allow you to read rss feeds, you set it up and have it save your feeds and when you run it the program puts email messages of the formatted feeds material in the account you specify. Also works in command line.
