Hi Jim,
Lynx itself does not play Internet streams, but excepting use of things like
Flash or Java, neither do any other web browsers.
You can get Lynx to work with streams if you configure it to launch the
appropriate player for the given MIME type and/or file extension, and for
certain protocols such as RTSP and MMS.
The files you are interested in are mailcap, mime.types and your lynx
configuration file (lynx.cfg by default).
I'm away from home right now so don't have access to my configs. But others
here may have configs they can share.
