It is sort of usable with Gnopernicus under GNOME. I am able to use 
Firefox and navigate webpages etc, but there is no great way for 
handling and reading tables, etc.

I would stick with lynx at this stage, as accessible firefox is not 
exactly ready for prime time yet.
