I would disagree with you about the legal requirement. Look at it this way. The ADA requires accessible banking in the U.S. It is a misapprehension of legal principals to then put a requirement of a particular OS and a particular AT over all other options. The government should not be, is is generally not in the business of preferring one technology vendor over others. The capitalist term for that is "anti-competitive." I would strongly suggest adding your voice to the small chorus of us telling the attorneys handling the banking settlement that they need to understand this issue better. I truly believe it's a matter of their comfort level with technology. Basically, they're horse and buggy people in an age of automobiles.
