Well that depends on the codecs I presume? > http://mplayerhq.hu i installed the .deb package, using the deb url: deb ftp://ftp.nerim.net/debian-marillat/ testing main in my /etc/apt/sources.list, but I will appreciate hearing from other Debian Testing users a) if they got realaudio running through mplayer b) which alternatives exist to trplayer, if the package is no longer maintained? c) who should have a trplayer compiled statically (if possible to do this)? This morning i tried a ldd trplayer (the tarball), and this is what he said: libslang.so.1 => /lib/libslang.so.1 (0x4001e000) libpthread.so.0 => /lib/libpthread.so.0 (0x40091000) libdl.so.2 => /lib/libdl.so.2 (0x400e2000) libstdc++-libc6.1-1.so.2 => not found libm.so.6 => /lib/libm.so.6 (0x400e6000) libc.so.6 => /lib/libc.so.6 (0x40108000) /lib/ld-linux.so.2 => /lib/ld-linux.so.2 (0x40000000) I don't know if a similar missing lib is inside libstdc++2.10-dev (this one is installed on my system): maybe making a symlink to the 'missing' lib should resolve the problem. Thanx once again in advance for further help/info. Osvaldo. _______________________________________________ Blinux-list@xxxxxxxxxx https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/blinux-list
