No way to make BRLTTY read while checking fs?

hi,
I'd like to know if it's possible to make BRLTTY read when the filesystem
(ext3) gives errors.
today I was unable to fix it without a sighted person's help, because the
ext3 partition had an error and it asked for manual check (fsck.ext3
/dev/hdc1).
That is, while booting, it asked me to give the root password then gave me a
"none:" bash and there I had to run the command.
Is there a way to make this kind of screen accessible?
I don't think so, as Brltty daemon starts when the NORMAL system loads, but
I just wanted confirmation.
thanks
