Re: xwindows question

You may be right this is more of a straight linux question but...

However  inittab already reads
id:2:initdefault:

and it still comes up in xwindows so I am not sure where to go from here.
And of course my only access to the box at this point is through telnet as I
can't even switch to a readable console once gnome is up.
