Hi,

An Optacon might do it if the colors aren't too fancy.

Just out of curiosity, how did you manage to get Loadlin? Red Hat comes
with lilo and grub as the standard choices, with grub being the default.
I haven't heard of anyone else on the list using loadlin except (I
think) the Slackware mini distribution (zipspeak?) that's designed to
start form DOS. Or am I thinking of some other program?

At any rate, if you install some full distro like Red Hat or Debian
you're not likely to get panic messages. Red Hat 8 can be installed
using Speakup right out of the (virtual!) box, though 9 cannot. I think
the speakup site has disks for other distros, though I'm a Braille only
user so don't have any experience. (Red Hat 9 can't be installed with
Braille either unless 3.3 might have fixed this; no evidence of that,
though.)
