Emacspeak and other files

Hi!
I am wondering if to get into Linux I might be best purchasing a PC with the
operating system pre-installed.
The Linux Emporium in the UK suggested two places which might be suitable
for supported Linux hardware.
John suggested either Novatec which sells bare systems but he wasn't totally
sure if they had changed the specs for their PCs at the time I asked about
computers for Linux and he also suggested Digital Networks which sells PCs
pre-installed with Linux.
If I were to go through say Digital Networks, what files should I send them
for say getting Linux up and running with Emacspeak as it seems likely that
I will be using this because of my lack of a hardware synthesiser to run
Speakup?
What files would I need as well as emacspeak?
I do have Viavoice on CDROM but am not sure if I should send that if I were
to buy a PC from DNUK?
I want to be sure that if I were to buy a pre-installed system, what I may
send is installed on it whether I use Emacspeak with Viavoice, Eflite or
Festival Lite.
Hope someone can answer my questions.
