Yes you can use Oralux with only a braille display. As mentionned in the
Knoppix cheatcode you must enter the name of your braille display at boot
time. so for example if you have a powerbraille you will enter brltty=ts or
if
you have an Alva you will enter brltty=al. I don't have the list of all the
supported braille display and their code name but you can find this list in
the brltty documentation. If you don't have brltty installed in another
machine now tell me and I'll search the list and send it to you.
