I used Ogle with great success.
It does have a commandline interface, and that is what I chose to use as
I was repeatedly showing the first five minutes of Jurrassic Pk III.

I'm not much a a movie watcher, and this is the only DVD I've seen. It
has a menu in the DVD where you can choose to view extra content, and of
course that's a GUI interface. Without using that, you get to see the
movie itself.
