You have some data in .imcom, others are loaded on the jabber server you created your contact with : your contact, let's say dave@a.jabber.sit is your identifier, each time you go on jabber, you have to knock at this a.jabber.sit server. I can add that when you're on jabber, you'll use /reg command to add a transport agent to your profile.
