Here is the exact command I send taken from a script that works on the one system that now does record mkisofs -l -R -q /home/martin/dsp |cdrecord -v -dev=0,0,0 -dummy - The dummy flag just makes it run without actually turning on the laser for writing. The working system goes through all the steps while the system still having problems complains about /dev/pg0 and gives up. scsidev: '0,0,0' scsibus: 0 target: 0 lun: 0 cdrecord: No such file or directory. Cannot open '/dev/pg0'. Cannot open SCSI driver. cdrecord: For possible targets try 'cdrecord -scanbus'. Make sure you are root.
