links-2.0pre packages and javascript

Some of you will recall that dave Mielke posted an email re: links and
javascript here a few days ago. I am delighted to tell you that, while it
doesn't handle everything, this browser does indeed have some javascript
support.
I have been unable to use www.schwans.com to place my schwans orders for over a
year because they "upgraded" their website. Last night, using links-2.0pre5 I
was able to complete a Schwans order.
The url for the home page for Links is
lynx http://artax.karlin.mff.cuni.cz/~mikulas/links/

Go to the link that mentions javascript and from there to the download page.
Requirements and compilation directions are shown right on the site. You will
want to compile with
--enable-javascript --with-ssl
It does also have graphics support, but this won't be turned on unless you
compile it in.
It isn't the solution to everything, but it is a step in the right direction.

Cheryl
