YES there certainly is. I've already done it successfully for debian 2.1/2.2 and even debian testing/unstable boot-disks. Let me know if you still can ue your debian system for compiling/mounting file (that is via the loopback-device)/wrting images (via the dd command) and some simple shell commands. If that is possible I'll E-mail you a script that will do nearly all steps automagically. What you can do in the mean time is the following: - go into the brltty Makefile and find the following line and place the switch -static after it LDFLAGS = $(COMMONLDFLAGS) -s - recompile and re-install brltty on your onw machine The script I have will make use of install-brltty, that's why you need a staticly-linked binary Also download the rescue.bin and root.bin (or copy them from cd) to a local folder form where you are going to run the script I will mail the script when I'm back home cause it's on the desktop-box there. > /Anders. > > > > > _______________________________________________ > > Blinux-list@redhat.com > https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/blinux-list > -- slainte mhaith (good health), slainte (cheers) Uisce Beatha (water of live/health) ----------- Andor Demarteau E-mail: ademarte@students.cs.uu.nl student computer science www: http://www.students.cs.uu.nl/~ademarte/ Utrecht University irc: see webpage for details ----------- Believe in yourself, know what you want, and make it happen!
