Or did you find yourself making better decisions in future installations? Why do you expect you'll get linux right in perpetuity the first go around? That's just folly. Odds are, you'll redo it three or four times within a few months. At least, that's what I understand is most folks' experience. PS: I'm not aware of viruses that attack linux? I have seen some issues with older versions of bind in recent months. Check those archives and compare to the bind on your install to satisfy yourself on that score. And, if you're really concerned about security, as well you should be, do the custom selections on the firewalling screens and kill things like telnet server and ftp server. Insist your users, if you allow any, use ssh.
