Hi Well it depends upon what distro your using. If you are using Slackware 8 then you'll have the talking kernel on the CD, if not you'll have to visit th e disks directory on the speakup site and find either the Debian or Red hat directory and select your kernel. I thought the curnels came in the packiges with it and you had to move them to the root directory but I can't find them.
