On Red Hat:

lrwxrwxrwx   1 root     root            7 Nov 25  1999 /usr/sbin/adduser -> useradd
-rwxr-xr-x   1 root     root        55016 Sep 22  1999 /usr/sbin/useradd

This is good, since I have trouble remembering which is which. <grin>
