I am Malik Talha a GSoC contributor who'll be working to enhance the existing speech recognition feature of AGL. This week marked the official beginning of the coding period.
I accomplished the following tasks this week:
- Set up and build the AGL master branch locally and on the remote server.
- Integrate the "meta-offline-voice-agent" layer into the build and test to see if everything is working fine.
- Update the Snips NLU library to include support for Python version >= 3.8.
- Refactor the Snips NLU library into two parts; Data processing and Model training plus inference.
